Technology and Industry Advisory Council
The Western Australia Technology and Industry Advisory Council (TIAC), was established under the Industry and Technology Development Act 1998 as the preeminent advisory body to the State Government on strategic industry, science and technology matters in WA.
In 2018, TIAC recommended to the State Government that the Council cease operations. The Government has accepted the recommendation and as such, TIAC discontinued activities on 31 August 2018.
As part of this process, the TIAC website will be decommissioned on 22 April 2019. Any information about TIAC after this date (including details about research projects and publications) can be obtained by emailing tiac@jtsi.wa.gov.au.
