The Government of Western Australia has established the Collie Futures Fund, a $20 million initiative over five years, to drive economic diversity and create jobs in the Collie region. The Collie Futures Fund is being delivered through two key programs:
- The Collie Futures Small Grants Program; and
- The Collie Futures Industry Development Fund.
The Collie Futures Small Grants Program is administered by the South West Development Commission while the Collie Futures Industry Development Fund is administered jointly with the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation.
The Collie Futures Industry Development Fund
The Collie Futures Industry Development Fund will provide up to $2 million per applicant to support significant industry-led proposals that will create jobs and contribute to economic development and diversification in the region. The program is expected to attract investment and provide support for proposals that demonstrate a considerable and sustainable economic impact in the Collie area.
