Reports

In 2011, Industry Development commissioned several reports in cooperation with other industry groups and experts.

The Modular Fabrication in the Resources Sector in Western Australia: Current Practices and Strategies for Improvement report, produced jointly with the Industry Capability Network of Western Australia, identified the gaps in the local modular fabrication industry and proposed strategies to assist local companies tendering for such projects.
The Assessment of the Engineering Design Capability and Capacity in the Oil and Gas Sector in Western Australia report, by Dr Martin West of Curtin University, examined the ability of the State’s industry to supply to offshore energy developments.

Industry Development has also made written submissions to several Parliamentary enquiries conducted by the Economics and Industry Standing Committee, including:

The Economic Implications of Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) Operations (2013-14); and
Growing WA through Innovation (2015-16).
