• WA Industry and Export Awards celebrates 30 years of acknowledging WA businesses
• 28 businesses announced as finalists in the 2018 WA Industry and Export Awards
• Winners to be announced at a gala event on October 18

Premier Mark McGowan today announced the finalists for the 2018 Western Australian Industry and Export Awards, now in its 30^th year.

A total of 28 businesses from throughout WA including Perth, Kalgoorlie, Manjimup and Metricup have been acknowledged.

Award categories include: Marketing and Design Excellence Award; WA Women in International Business; Agribusiness Award; Digital Technologies Award; Education and Training Awards; C.Y. O'Connor Award for Excellence in Engineering and Technology; Emerging Export Award; Environmental Solutions Award, and Health and Biotechnology Award.

Winners will be announced at a gala event, at the Hyatt on October 18, 2018.

State winners of the 13 export award categories will automatically qualify for the 56^th National Export Awards in December, 2018.
