  • Lithium and Energy Materials Industry Consortium to be held on July 19, 2018
  • Consortium provides opportunity for industry to contribute to the development of WA's Lithium and Energy Materials Strategy

The McGowan Government will hold its first phase of consultation with industry and research representations to discuss its Lithium and Energy Materials Strategy on Thursday, July 19.

Chaired by Mines and Petroleum Minister Bill Johnston, the consortium will identify how we can grow Western Australia's potential in lithium and energy materials across the entire battery materials value chain by hearing from those working in the sector.

The McGowan Government is committed to working with industry, the community and research organisations to develop a strategy that creates a world-leading energy material industry that delivers long-term benefits to Western Australians.
