There are a range of development sites available within the Ashburton North Strategic Industrial Area (ANSIA) for prospective proponents.
The ANSIA includes the Port of Ashburton and an associated 8,000ha Strategic Industrial Area which has the potential to accommodate up to two LNG processing facilities, at least two domestic gas processing facilities and multiple downstream processing industries. The ANSIA also includes sites for worker accommodation and general industry.
